These clients started with a simple conversation...

See how they have been served!

"When I first met Dr. Corey I was being treated for some hip and back issues.  On examination, he told me your hips are also very tight.  I work in construction and my job is very physical, as well as a runner. I’m not the most flexible person at baseline and I have struggled to change this myself. Dr. Corey set me up with daily exercise  as well as several different personal programs for me to use that helped open up my tightness and relieved stiffness and soreness from overused muscles. His neurological release, exercise and mobilization throughout my programs to optimize my outcome. Today I can work pain free as well as squat, deadlift, and run, which before now was a problem . I want to thank Dr. Corey for his continued commitment to keeping me employed as a plasterer and as a runner."

"Dr. Corey was quite effective addressing my hip extensor tightness and pain issues, using a range of neurologic therapies, including neural reset techniques and corrective exercises. I particularly appreciate Dr. Corey’s ability to evaluate the overall biomechanics and assess the actual causes the issue: in my case looking not only at the hip, but also at the running gait, the interacting muscles, fascial tissues and joints…Dr. Corey's comprehensive approach resulted in a durable improvement of the hip mobility, the body movement and my running."

"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Corey or give any higher praise for his work as a clinician whether for physical therapy, physical training or coaching. I have been a patient and client of Dr. Corey’s for the past 4 years. He is truly one of the most knowledgeable physical therapists (and I’ve been to numerous) whom I have met and has a greater understanding of how the human body functions than anyone I have ever known. I initially came to Dr. Corey after being diagnosed with a labral tear in one hip and labrum fraying in the other. The prognosis I was given by a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital was 2 separate surgeries on my hips, one at a time, over the course of more than a year. As a very busy mom of three kids, a cycler, a runner and an extremely active woman, I felt completely defeated and discouraged. I was advised NOT to seek physical therapy or physical training having been told it “wouldn’t make a difference.”Upon first meeting with Dr. Corey, he took the time and attention to detail to understand my case as he examined and listened carefully to my history as a competitive gymnast and runner. He was quickly able to plan a course of treatment for me to move towards greater health and strength in my hips. His treatment plans have always been thorough, clear and well thought out. Through his tweaking of treatment plans, training programs and even blood flow restriction (BFR) protocols, I have made immeasurable progress and can confidently say that I will not be requiring surgery on my hips anytime soon. What is more, through his highly tailored training programs and recovery treatments, I have not only experienced reduced pain in my hips, but I have been able to return to my pre-diagnosis activities including training, cycling and running. If you or anyone you know has hip pain or injuries, I strongly urge you to seek the care of Dr. Corey Samuelson. You will not regret it."

"I came to Dr. Corey in a unique position: a powerlifting athlete , runner, and who also competitively horse rides! I developed hip pain that prevented me from squatting and running, and also had a restriction in ankle mobility that was poorly affecting my horse riding. Within a few seconds of watching me work out, Dr. Corey instantly knew that my hip pain was coming from a lack of stabilizing my core and loading my spine properly under weight. The restriction in my ankle was also causing me to have an extremely rotated pelvis, which made the hip pain worse while lifting and running. Dr. Corey showed me exercises and tools to perform before and during my workouts, which helped me learn to gain control of my core. He also helped me gain mobility in my ankle. When I implemented his exercise recommendations, all of my pain disappeared and I was hitting squat and training records every week. But Dr. Corey didn’t stop there! He went out of his way to learn more about the biomechanics of horse riding, and showed me hip shifting exercises to better control my body in the saddle. At my first show of the season, I moved up a division and earned top ribbons! After a year of working with another physical therapist and trainers with no results, Dr. Corey was the one who showed the care, attention to detail, and will to learn more about my sports that no one else did. He is so passionate about what he does and believes in developing a customized approach to equip his clients with the tools for success and longevity. I could not recommend him more and am very thankful for his help!"
