Hi, I’m Dr. Corey—co-founder of Uplift Physio, orthopedic physical therapist, endurance athlete, and someone who believes that no one should have to live in a body they don’t trust.
I’ve always been drawn to solving problems—especially the ones other providers overlook. Whether it’s chronic shoulder pain that no MRI can explain or a runner whose recurring injury has no clear diagnosis, I specialize in connecting the dots across the body and helping people reclaim their strength, mobility, and performance.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy after years of studying human movement and biomechanics. Early in my career, I worked in busy orthopedic and sports clinics—and while I loved the science and strategy behind rehab, I constantly felt like the system was holding my patients (and me) back. Appointments were too short. Insurance dictated what we could do. And clients were left chasing symptoms, not solutions.
That frustration is what led my wife Alyssa and I to create Uplift Physio—a space where we can finally deliver the high-level, full-body care we know people need.
At Uplift, I work with a wide range of clients—from postpartum moms to high-level athletes—to uncover the true source of pain and dysfunction. My treatments often blend fascial and soft tissue work, breath and core retraining, strength and mobility programming, movement pattern rewiring, and nervous system integration.
I also love helping active parents, busy professionals, and weekend warriors learn how to move better—not just to recover, but to perform better in life.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me biking, lifting, running, or chasing after our two wild and wonderful boys. Parenthood has added a whole new layer to how I understand the human body, and I bring that lived experience to every client I work with.
