What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your body. Your story. Your healing starts here.

Your Initial Evaluation is 60–90 minutes of 1:1, expert care. It includes:

🔍 Whole-Body Assessment

We evaluate posture, movement, breath, core, and (if applicable) pelvic floor to identify the root cause of your symptoms.

Hands-On Evaluation & Treatment

Manual therapy, fascial release, breathwork, neurological re-education, and more—tailored to your body.

🧠 Personalized Plan

We’ll explain what we found and give you a clear, customized roadmap to healing—with tools you can start using right away.

🚪Finding Our Space

We are conveniently located on 2A in Lexington, just minutes off of Route 95. The brick building is located across from Sunoco Gas Station.

If you’re arriving for your first visit, we recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to get settled in our relaxing waiting room.

🅿️ Parking

Ample free parking is available in the lot directly in front of the building and to the side of the building.

🛗 Accessibility

Our clinic is conveniently located on the ground floor. Take a left when you enter the building, walk to the end of the hallway and we are the last door on the right, Suite #10.


If you require assistance getting to the door, feel free to text us when you arrive—we’re happy to help.

🚻 Restrooms

Restrooms are located just inside the main building entrance, on both sides of the staircase.


Insurance and Payment

At Uplift Physio, we’ve proudly chosen to remain an out-of-network provider so we can focus on what matters most — your healing, your goals, and your long-term results.

Being out-of-network means we are not bound by insurance company restrictions on treatment type, frequency, or session length. Instead, we design a plan tailored specifically to you, based on what your body truly needs — not on what an insurance company will approve.

Many of our clients are still able to use their insurance benefits through out-of-network reimbursement.

Here’s how it works:

  • Check Your Benefits

    Call your insurance provider and ask:

    “Do I have out-of-network benefits for physical therapy?”

    “What is my out-of-network deductible?”

    “What percentage will you reimburse once my deductible is met?”

  • Pay at Time of Service

    You pay for your visit at the time of your appointment.

  • Get Your Superbill

    We provide a detailed receipt (“superbill”) with the necessary codes and clinic information.

  • Submit to Insurance

    Send the superbill to your insurance provider through their online portal or by mail.

  • Receive Reimbursement

    If you have out-of-network coverage, your insurance will send reimbursement directly to you.

📅 Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No referral is needed!
In Massachusetts, you have direct access to physical therapy. That means you can schedule with us directly—no PCP or specialist referral required.

🧾 Do you accept insurance?

We are proudly out-of-network.
This allows us to provide 1:1, personalized care without the time limits, restrictions, or red tape of insurance-based therapy.

You’ll receive a detailed superbill after your visit that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement (especially if you have a PPO plan).
We’ll guide you through that process if needed.

Think of it like visiting a dentist or specialist—you pay up front, then submit for reimbursement.

💳 How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and debit cards. Payment is collected at the time of service.

🧘 What should I wear to my session?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move—like yoga clothes, leggings, or workout attire.
For pelvic health visits, we use professional draping and always prioritize your consent and comfort.

🕒 What’s your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee, as we’ve reserved this time just for you.
